Moose is a talented 10 year old 16.1-16.2hh Quarter Horse gelding who is with us to leg up and find a new home! We are super excited for the opportunity to help Moose shine and bring his next rider to the winners circle! Moose is sired by the late great Holy Bart. His dam is by Leaving Memories....Moose has the looks and ability that screams CHAMPION! He has been brought along correct and well cared for his whole life. This is a NICE QUALITY horse! From current owner: *Runs consistently 2D at large races, has run in 1D multiple times. *Taught all WSCA games and has qualified for Champ Show after being on patterns for only a year. *Placed top 15 in barrels at 2021 WSCA Champ Show. *Won me a buckle and numerous ribbons and checks at jackpots. *Won at the Barnum Horse Race and handled the experience very well. *Solid, sweet and smart horse: I’ve had my fiancé (who is not horsey) ride Moose easily. *Very respectful on the ground. *Loads into trailer, stands at the trailer well, up to date with teeth, has chiro and massage regularly, farrier and vaccines. -Moose is out of shape at the moment but is being worked. **Moose has mild navicular, he requires wedge shoes/backwards or bar shoes when being ridden and bute at competitions. He still runs very well and my vet and farrier have worked with me to ensure he is sound to run He has been kept sound the past two years with a good farrier and vet, he is a solid horse I have X-rays if interested**
